GENERAL FUNCTION

Implement consistent standardized operating practices that are aligned with both the company's and the client's initiatives and expectations. Consult with practice to foster relationship, develop their business, influence and achieve mutually beneficial goals. Identify and engage new practice prospects in region.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving Results



  • Collaborate and engage field leaders and practice partners for a unified approach to the success of the business
  • Lead daily field operations in the region, interpret changes in the marketplace, generate ideas, support and lead initiatives that drive top line sales growth and Vision Associates' value
  • Ensure proactive communication with all partners to establish & maintain strong relationships that are complimentary & consistent with company goals & strategic needs
  • Ensure properly allocated labor & resources in order to achieve expectations of clients & patients; maintain revenue goals & margins
  • Network, recruit and hire high caliber talent to ensure positions are filled timely for improved results and succession planning effectiveness.
  • Analyze the business, develop strategies, create and deliver clear action plans that optimize results.
  • Manage profits and expenses while ensuring proper usage of company funds.


Developing Team



  • Develop teams to achieve goals and foster execution of best practices for growth of business and productive inspiring cultures.
  • Lead, mentor & inspire field team; lead through effective communication of company vision; lead effectively through change and performance management.
  • Builds a bench of talent internally and externally to be ready for placement.


Strategic Consulting



  • Develops & maintains an effective communication strategy for client and/or practice engagement.
  • Coaches team to develop and implement strategies to achieve the goals of the practice.
  • Establishes sound business relationships with practice owners and key stakeholders.
  • Partners with peers and internal departments to drive and retain business.


New Business Development



  • Prospects, engages and develops new businesses leads through referrals from existing practices, cultivated relationships both in person and virtually, and through knowledge of region territory.
  • Coaches team to prospect meaningful new business leads.
  • Develops strategic plan for territory to identify and engage new business prospects.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+years' multi-unit & management experience leading a large retail team successfully
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail & time management skills
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, critical & strategic thinking with little oversight
  • Travel 50%+


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience in an Ophthalmology environment
  • ABO Certification or Optical License

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
