What does the Regional Marketing Director do?

As the Regional Marketing Director at Texas Oncology, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive patient acquisition, brand awareness, and market growth in your assigned region. You will work closely with the leadership team, physicians, and marketing colleagues to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and initiatives. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the field of oncology.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional marketing strategies that align with Texas Oncology's overall marketing objectives and support the growth goals of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the regional leadership team and physicians to understand market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and develop targeted marketing plans.
  • Manage direct reports and external agencies and vendor as appropriate.
  • Develop and manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including digital marketing, advertising, events, community outreach, and referral marketing.
  • Collaborate with the central marketing team to adapt and localize statewide marketing campaigns to the regional market, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and patient demographics to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to regional and corporate leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, community organizations, and referral partners, to enhance brand visibility and drive patient referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical, operations, and business development, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare marketing to continuously enhance the organization's regional marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing, preferably within the healthcare industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with a focus on driving patient acquisition and market growth.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, advertising, events, and community outreach.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate marketing strategies and influence stakeholders.
