Drives compliance with standard operating procedures and policies, such as Safety, Quality, GMP, and CPS. May be assigned to one or more of following functions: Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and Quality. Roles and Responsibilities: Champions a safety culture, ensures a safe work environment, and promotes safe behavior * Monitors environment and becomes aware of conditions that may affect employee safety and security; takes corrective action * Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies * Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees * Prepares documentation and provides performance feedback to introductory employees * Provides feedback to plant leaders concerning employee performance and behavior * Ensures employees have required tools, supplies and area to exercise their duties Production: * Operates blow mold machines and other related equipment * Analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules, and other data to drive production requirements * Performs and/or assigns personnel to conduct audits, weights and quality checks * Troubleshoots and resolves process problems and makes minor repairs to blow-mold and support equipment * Prepares and documents daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other Maintenance: * Loads and unloads trucks and secures product in accordance with customer requirements; inspects incoming materials. * Performs mold, neck tooling, pin and other equipment changes * Installs, adjusts, and repairs blow mold machines, trimmers, palletizers and other related equipment * Troubleshoots, locates root problems, and repairs blow mold, baggers and support equipment or PLC programming issues Warehouse: * Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. * Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment Quality: * Develops and implements quality related training programs for all employees * Applies statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods * Performs in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading Communicates quality issues and out of specifications conditions to plant leaders * Completes laboratory testing and collects samples at established intervals Other: * Group Lead will have responsibility for two or more departments (i.e. Production, Warehouse, etc.). Lead willhave responsibility for one mid-to-large department or a limited number of shift employees. * Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management Starting Pay Rate: $25.00 Minimum Requirements: 1-3 years experience High School diploma Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing Experience Associates degree or equivalent We Believe in Rewarding our Most Important Resource - Our People!
