Requisition ID req31680 Working Title Professional Consultant Position Grade 16 Position Summary The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico seeks a highly motivated team player with a commitment to implementation of research studies examining the potential use of psychedelic assisted therapies for addiction, PTSD, depression and other indication. The position involves working on two clinical trials for the use of PAT to major depression and postpartum depression. Specific duties include: 1. On-site data collection, including from electronic medical records. 2. Screening and recruitment of research participants 3. Psychological assessment of research participants 4. Data entry and management including use of clinical trial software including Zelta, Suvoda and Red Cap 5. Completing other project tasks as needed 6. Training or supervising research team clinicians to acquire experience with the assessment measures See the Position Description for additional information. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: The most successful candidate will have: 1. MA, MS or PhD in relevant field 2. Background in psychology or mental health as a clinician to facilitate training as a rater for psychologic assessment measures 3. Current experience with survey instruments used in evaluation of psychedelic assisted therapy including but not limited to the SCID-CT, SDS, MADRS, C-SSRS ABD CAPS-5 4. Strong interpersonal skill including ability to comfortably work with people during preparation and integration from psychedelic therapy. 5. Knowledge about REDCap, Electronic Data Capture software (e.g. Zelta), and Drug management software (E.g. Suvoda) 6. Experience working in conducting clinical trials 7. Experience conducting recruitment/screening/assessment with research participants. 8. Interest in mental health and addiction 9. People who are successful in this position can work independently, are self-motivated, very detail oriented, responsible, and have good critical thinking skills.
