Job Summary (Primary function)
The Director, US Product Strategy, Professional Relations is responsible for increasing the Incyte corporate brand within the specialty of dermatology, building and strengthening relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs), Speakers, professional societies, and large group networks. The position will be field based and responsibilities will be assigned to a specific region. A key member of the Product Strategy team, looking to increase support for and appropriate use of Incyte products through KEE advocacy development. Explore opportunities for peer to peer related initiatives that support brand awareness. Acting as a central point of contact for KEEs within assigned geography in a manner complaint with all Incyte policies and procedures, including those regarding appropriate Medical/Commercial interactions. Responsible for compliantly liaising with Medical Affairs, R&D, Market Access, and Sales to communicate market support data consistent with product strategy and messaging. The function will be positioned to have a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and external visibility which will ensure timely feedback to be channeled to the internal teams on the dermatology landscape.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
* Develop and execute a comprehensive KEE engagement plan for optimal advocacy conducted through 1:1 field based meetings, virtual meetings, interactions at state, regional, and national conferences, in order to establish Incyte as a leading company within the specialty of dermatology.
* Conducting appropriate business discussions with KEEs and key customers related to on-label product information, disease state, and general corporate awareness.
* Identify and develop relationships with large group networks within assigned region to explore product and corporate branding opportunities.
* Assisting with the identification and development of Incyte's speaker bureau. Maintaining appropriate communication with members of the bureau to ensure alignment on disease and brand messaging.
* Provide strategic and tactical insights to the Senior Director, Professional Relations to foster alignment throughout the Product Strategy Team as it relates to corporate and brand business objectives.
* Identify and establish a working relationship with professional organizations within the assigned region to explore initiatives to strengthen corporate awareness within the dermatology community.
* Plan and execute KEE engagements with senior leadership at regional and national conferences, during field visits, and other venues as directed, in a compliant manner.
* Initiate and pursue opportunities to involve Incyte in meaningful programs with KEEs to ensure Incyte is strategically and strongly positioned in the (dermatology) market in assigned region.
* Acting as the single field based point of contact between KEEs and home office (e.g., Product Strategy Team) personnel.
* Providing advisory board participant recommendations, and attending advisory boards where needed, appropriate and approved.
* Liaise with Product Strategy Team members, Sales and National Accounts to ensure KEE needs are addressed in a timely and thorough manner. Compliantly connect KEEs to the appropriate Medical Affairs or R&D team member regarding requests that are aligned within their respective functional areas.
* Provide timely feedback to the Product Strategy Team, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Business Development and other functional areas to ensure a contemporary view of key market trends impacting our the business.
* Perform all company business in accordance with all federal/state regulations, company policies and procedures.
* Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge; becoming an expert for disease areas.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
* Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
* Experience in the dermatology marketplace required.
* 10-15 year's pharmaceutical and biotech experience in professional relations, brand marketing, sales leadership etc.
* Ability to foster relationships, build advocacy, negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* High energy, creativity, and aptitude for handling multiple tasks concurrently.
* Strong teamwork, collaboration, communication and presentation skills are required.
* Project Management experience and experience with internal Medical, Legal, Regulatory process is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong technical skills required in order to develop content and analyze market trends.
* Frequent travel (50% +) is required. Position will be responsible for supporting a specified Region.
