Job Responsibilities:
Vendor point of contact for maintenance and repair of building and equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections as required on equipment & machinery throughout the site. Minor plumbing repairs, miscellaneous equipment repairs. Use computerized maintenance management system, CMMS, to receive preventative maintenance and general maintenance workorders as assigned. Properly document completion of maintenance tasks using CMMS and paper filing with signature where required. Utilize email daily to receive messages from management. Housekeeping duties-daily. Complete assigned workorders and special projects as needed. Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs. Maintain good housekeeping and safe work areas. Comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client directed policies and procedures. Recognize danger and safety hazards; propose methods to eliminate them. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a distribution/warehouse environment. Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable. Skills and Knowledge Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Licenses/Certifications Divers License PIT/Forklift Certification. Training will be provided and is mandatory. Physical Work Requirements and Work Conditions This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping. Climbing a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. The ability to see and hear details in order to identify and diagnose problems. Scheduled work shift 8AM-4:30PM. Shift hours are subject to change for special projects & client business needs. |
