The role:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer who excels in UI development, data analysis, and managing big data technologies to join NAM finance team. The role involves building scalable data solutions and user-friendly interfaces to support decision-making and drive business insights.

The primary purpose of this role is to design and implement a robust data layer/model that connects disparate systems, establishes a centralized control environment, and ensures reliable and accessible data for business operations and decision-making.

The data engineer would work with the finance leadership team to automate, improve and standardize financial processes in the region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform teams responsible for upstream systems and local finance teams to identify data requirements and optimize integration processes.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, technology teams, business stakeholders, and other engineers to ensure the accuracy, availability, and ultimately enabling the creation of high-quality reports and dashboards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop a unified data layer/model that integrates data from multiple legacy systems, ensuring consistency and integrity across platforms.
  • Design scalable data pipelines and workflows to collect, transform, and store large volumes of data from diverse sources.
  • Build intuitive and efficient user interfaces to enable stakeholders to interact with and analyze data seamlessly.
  • Assist finance leadership team in creating a control environment to monitor data quality, detect discrepancies, and ensure compliance with organizational standards

What you bring:

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with a deep understanding of SQL.
  • Proficiency in UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience designing and maintaining data models and ETL pipelines in complex system landscapes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern data storage solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address system-wide challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity/experience in API integration
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $150,000-$200,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
