Our client is searching for a SQL Data Engineer for a temp-to-perm position that can be worked remotely.
***All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems while on contract and no sponsorship is available*** Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: * Works with Database leadership team to steer technical and procedural changes relative to best practices in database development and solutions * Translates project designs into working database software solutions using a combination of Microsoft software development tools including SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL. * Effectively plans and manages assignments spanning one or more client projects * Develops, tests, and integrates code for new or existing database development * Provides sustaining or maintenance support to existing databases * Clearly communicates project issues and status to Database Development Manager or more senior database or IT staff * Implements test strategies and procedures established by team and works with Process Quality Assurance to test all database code Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience developing with SQL and .Net technologies. This position focuses more on the back end.
