Manager Program Support- Biomarker Field Team

Position Summary:

The Manager Program Support plays a critical role to the success of the Biomarker Field Team. The role plays a variety of important functions to implement and monitor strategic plans for the team to deliver results and meet program objectives, based on contract specifications.The Manager Program Support plays an intermediary role between the National Program Director and the Biomarker field sales team to support the key business objectives from analyzing data to supporting customer interactions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the program requirements, based on the executed Statement of Work, into operational tasks for successful execution of contractual deliverables.
  • Support and mentor Biomarker field team in their assigned region in all areas of their role
  • Support team objectives in ways that promote collaboration and create a strong sense of shared goals among team members.
  • Monitor and manage training needs of the Biomarker Field Team engaging client training department/Program Director when applicable.
  • Conduct field rides to provide additional support for the Biomarker Field Team as needed
  • Support the Program Director cultivating a team-oriented (with Amplity Health employees and Client employees), productive and positive work environment by supporting and mentoring the individual Biomarker Field Team in their assigned territories.
  • Provide on-going coaching when requested by the Program Director to ensure that Biomarker Field Team possess the most up-to-date knowledge on project information.
  • Support the Program Director when requested monitoring employee compliance with all company policies and procedures and engage/work with Amplity Health Compliance and the Program Director.
  • Provide administrative support on a regular basis in support of the Program Director and business needs.
  • Support the Program Director when requested ensuring the Biomarker Field Team or when covering any accounts that all activities fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity Health Policies, Code of Conduct, terms and conditions prescribed in the Sample Administration Agreements, PDMA Guidelines, and all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Represent client at National and/or local conventions when applicable.
  • Regularly communicate Program Director on program related matters affecting Client and or Amplity needs.
  • Maintain project files and reports as needed.
  • Communicate to Program Director new opportunities among existing clients.
  • Assist team with utilization of all technology requirements: CRM use, expense and OSIM reporting, activity reports, sales reports and other reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Prior experience in a Precision Medicine role
  • Pathology diagnostic experience
  • Oncology experience
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in a specialty pharma sales or pathology diagnostic sales in position preferred
  • Management experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel 50%-60% of the time
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Tech savvy with meeting platforms and other relevant software programs.
  • Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend).

Preferred:

  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with diagnostic product launch.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the oncology diagnostic and pharmaceutical industry.

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge.
