POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Lead BIM Modeler reports to the Regional Senior Director, Design
  • Full-Time
  • Remote

The Lead BIM Modeler provides essential support to the design and project management team by offering Building Information Modeling (BIM) assistance, software support, coordination drawings, and standards maintenance. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient production and distribution of BIM design content while upholding established process controls and production standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

BIM Design Content Management:



  • Responsible for the maintenance, production, and distribution of BIM design content in accordance with established process controls and production standards.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining company design and BIM standards.


Innovation and Process Improvement:



  • Stay abreast of new processes and technologies in the industry, offering insights to improve and streamline production and maintenance of BIM content.
  • Provide daily BIM software assistance, troubleshooting, and support to the design/project management team.


Project Coordination and Support:



  • Identify and oversee project-specific BIM coordination requirements with the design/project management team, assisting with BIM execution plans and attending BIM coordination meetings as required.
  • Provide design/estimating team with BIM coordination cost estimates.


Documentation and Communication:



  • Generate documents/drawings for construction/bidding/installation purposes under the guidance of Designer/Project Manager.
  • Attend job meetings with Designer/Project Manager when necessary.
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with TriMark BIM Manager and other leaders to build uniform BIM processes, procedures, and standards.


Training and Outreach:



  • Lead training seminars for new team members and provide continuing education on current BIM standards and processes.
  • Generate and lead outreach with local BIM communities, schools, and social media to exchange ideas and information on BIM practices and the Foodservice Industry.


Professional Development:



  • Attend Autodesk University and other BIM-related continuing education opportunities.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner that fosters positive relations with customers, vendors, and internal company personnel.



COMPETENCIES:



  • Extensive knowledge of BIM practices, standards, and techniques.
  • Superior customer service attitude with unwavering commitment to customer, team, and company.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Operating systems.
  • Highly motivated with a strong professional work ethic.
  • Good business acumen and selling/presentation skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of general construction, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Highly creative with knowledge of the foodservice industry.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 3 - 4 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit production modeling and BIM coordination in an Interior Design, Architectural, Engineering, or Construction related field.
  • Previous foodservice industry experience preferred.
  • Must complete CFSP Test within the first 3 years of employment.
  • Certification in Autodesk Software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
