THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dedicated Human Services Program Representative 1 to ensure that licensed mental health programs are in compliance with Pennsylvania state law. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Southeast Region Office of Mental Health has many roles, including the critical oversight of licensed mental health programs, and monitoring the contract provisions of the behavioral health managed care program within the southeast region. In addition to licensing and investigating mental health programs, you will provide accurate and relevant information regarding contract compliance to the department, interested parties, and the community. You will also detect urgent discrepancies in reporting mechanisms, problems within the service provisions, and significant consumer issues in a timely manner for immediate resolution to allay adverse consequences to consumers, the community, or the department. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:
