We Require
One year of clinical mental health experience Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited program A valid, unrestricted license issued by the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a:
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), OR Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), OR Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC), OR Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), OR Licensed Associate Psychologist

Complete bio-psychosocial assessments, suicide risk assessments, and other clinical forms as required under the supervision of an independently licensed mental health professional Provide individual and group psycho-education and crisis intervention services under the supervision of an independently licensed mental health professional Coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team regarding patient care Develop and coordinate patient discharge/re-entry plans Obtain relevant treatment records and coordinate care with family members, community providers, and others relevant to the patient's care and community re-entry plan Maintain and update a list of community resources to support the patient's transition and re-entry back to the community, including civil commitment procedures, RBHA services, and criminal justice processes
Working Conditions
Must complete a CPR certification during new hire orientation Must complete an MCSO-HR fingerprint background check Must be able to work inside a jail environment, consisting of working in close proximity to inmates and other staff and being indoors in a confined area handling multiple or complicated tasks Requires accuracy, decision-making, and concentration skills to be vigilant in a teamwork environment Performs a high volume of work under short deadlines or with time pressures to complete frequently changing and unscheduled tasks
