Position Title: CNC Tool Room Technician Wage: $22-$24/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:30pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a 2nd shift Tool Room Machinist at a company in Oconomowoc, WI. CNC Tool Room Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Organize tools and equipment on shelves and racks for easy access - Keep track of inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed - Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they are in good working condition - Perform repairs or arrange for professional repairs when necessary - Distribute tools to production teams based on their needs - Track tool usage and ensure timely returns - Work closely with engineering teams to assess manufacturing feasibility - Troubleshoot and improve process efficiency - Operate milling machines and lathes for minor tool modifications CNC Tool Room Technician Requirements: - Trade or technical degree or equivalent - A working knowledge of mold components - Basic knowledge of types of steels used in molds - Ability to read and comprehend blueprints - Proficient in math, including a basic knowledge of trigonometry - Experience with toolroom machines listed above QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
