Position Title: Die Cutter Pressman Lead
Wage: $25.75 - $27.75/Hour Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 8:15 AM - 6:15 PM ( Tuesday - Friday ) Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Die Cutter Pressman Lead Responsibilities: - Effectively communicating and collaborating with other departments to plan and produce incoming jobs; ensuring smooth and efficient production flow - Following detailed instructions on work tickets when receiving an order in die-cutting - Ensuring proper sheet alignment prior to starting process - Setting up die in presses and running sheets to ensure accurate creases/cuts for final products - Conducting quality inspections on each load for accuracy - Providing final approval for printing department to run new job; confirming layout will conform to the produced die - Completing proper paperwork for finished loads; ensuring completion before starting new load - Mentoring and guiding feeder operator; assigning tasks - Communicating with pre-make department so any concerns can be resolved before die sets - Operating PIV's Requirements For Die Cutter Pressman Lead: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Prior knowledge of die cutting procedures - Able to work with computers/software systems - Basic math skills - Able to lift up to 40 pounds QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
