Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to lead sales growth and manage customer relationships within the MRO sector. This role involves identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of clients across industries like manufacturing, utilities, and facilities management.

Position Details:

  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 per year + commission
  • Work Location: California (preferably near San Diego, Long Beach, or the San Francisco Bay Area)
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 75%

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MRO sector to expand market share.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
  • Promote MRO products, services, and solutions, with the potential for new engine sales when appropriate.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their needs and recommending the right solutions.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.

Industry Expertise and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date on MRO products, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customized solutions and technical support.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide training for clients.

Operational Excellence:

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market conditions to adapt strategies.
  • Ensure all pricing and proposals align with company guidelines.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work with supply chain, operations, and technical teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Mentor junior sales representatives, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in MRO or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to learn and use both manufacturing partner and internal ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with MRO product lines and services.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to craft tailored client solutions.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel (up to 75%) for client meetings and industry events.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
