Job Summary

Performs financial, business, and performance analysis in a cross-functional setting, supporting Fleet, Shop Services, and Radio Communications. Including reporting, tracking, and analyzing FSR assets, developing and maintaining processes, procedures, systems, and measurements that enable the organization to evaluate costs, compliance, and business performance objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts/errors, and decompose high-level information into details.
  • Identify, accumulate, and compile statistical data using mathematical computations. Transcribe the data to reports, charts, forms, and effective presentations.
  • Develops, analyzes, and reports trends for various financial and non-financial factors, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and statistical reports related to FSR assets, asset utilization, work management, client usage and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop Scope of Work documents and assist FSR management with SAP shopping cart submission.
  • Collaborates closely with Corporate Procurement to ensure vendor contract compliance of terms and conditions, negotiated pricing, effectiveness of provided services/materials.
  • Produce high quality products/documents, including accountability for the accuracy and validity of data and assumptions.
  • Administration of master data in various FSR systems/applications including ensuring the uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency, and accountability of shared data.
  • Supports day to day functions related to acquisition, ownership, maintenance, and retirement of assets.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with end users, other departments, FSR management, and vendors.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and/or System Administrator for Fleet Focus, SAP, GPS Insight, Fuel Force, MobilEye and other FSR related systems.
  • Assist management in the assessment and development of financial transactions such as forecasting, planning, journal corrections, system uploads, cost reviews and documentation.
  • Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
  • Prepare recommendations or other documents to adequately document decision making information.
  • Develop, document and review FSR operational processes, practices, and methodologies.
  • Researches, responds to and/or completes special project assignments, as required.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft products (Excel, Power Point, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat.

Education Description

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, supply chain, data science, data analytics or a relevant business/technical discipline field.
  • Will consider relevant job-related CenterPoint Energy experience for non-degree candidates

Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in support of FSR asset management, reporting, data analytics, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Consultant role.
