As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for representing Crescent while prospecting and soliciting orders within the guidelines established by management, identifying client needs, proposing solutions, products and their applications, selling products and services to a wide range of clients, accepting and responding to customer inquiries and processing orders received within an assigned geographical territory. You will also be responsible for reviewing orders received to ensure customer needs are met, following through on commitments of delivery of product or information required, and proper communication of information to customers and employees who are fulfilling the order.

Primary Duties:

  • Sell products and services, offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer, and suggest alternative products when a customer-requested product is not available.

  • Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and the company.

  • Back up and support counter sales representatives and warehouse personnel, as necessary.

  • Issue Return Goods Requests to customers to expedite product returns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (preferred); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous sales experience, previous knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution industry, and previous experience providing superior customer service preferred.
