Our Rehabilitation Department treats both acute inpatients and outpatients, so your days will always be exciting and varied. We use EPIC for all electronic medical records, so if you're familiar with it, you'll hit the ground running! Oh, and did we mention the perks? Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

Requirements

  • State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $94,515.00 - $139,402.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
