Description

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Account Executive to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Innovative, self-starter with the self- confidence and ability to represent the Pavion Company in a professional, ethical manner to gain a high level of confidence
  • Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills
  • Develop and execute a strong business plan, advanced selling skills, e.g., qualify prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts (closing)
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities
  • Identify target opportunities to 'take' large customer sales from our competitors where possible
  • Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their issues to drive long term results and become their trusted advisor


Basic Qualifications:



  • Prospecting and building relationships with new clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities
  • Performing consultative site surveys, system design, estimating and proposal writing
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience. B2B electronic security industry knowledge preferred. Consultative sales experience is preferred as well.
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Security clearance
  • Covid-19 vaccination


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key influencers
  • Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to meet travel requirements up to 40%
  • Ability to sit or stand in stationary position for a prolonged period of time
