Compensation

Salary Range: $37.34 - $56.27 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Under the general guidance of the Director of Marketing, this position plans and coordinates projects, initiatives, and events in support of the health system's marketing, public relations, internal communications, and service line specific objectives. The Marketing Project Manager oversees the day-to-day activities associated with ongoing marketing programs and projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, providing status updates as needed, and coordinating communication with outside partners.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Manages and coordinates efforts to complete marketing and communications projects on time and within budget. Utilizes conceptual abilities to visualize end results and the planning, organization, and time management skills required to achieve end results.
  1. In collaboration with the Marketing Team and outside partners, maintains the marketing project status report and leads weekly project status meetings.
  2. Utilizes organization, communication, and time management skills to coordinate production and submission of advertising assets to media partners in alignment with advertising calendar.
  3. Coordinates internal Community Memorial resources and outside marketing resources to execute projects as appropriate.
  4. Serves as primary point of contact for all marketing requests and inquires. Facilitates the marketing project request process and coordinates the receipt of required content, reference material, and additional details as needed.
  5. Manages collateral material development process. Gathers and edits content as needed, manages approval process to ensure accuracy of information and branding prior to publication. Manages production of materials, ensuring completion, delivery, and dissemination of finished product.
  6. Assists with scheduling of video and photography vendors. Works with internal stakeholders and outside partners to develop video production schedules and manage day-of logistics as needed.
  7. Maintains positive and productive relationships with key internal stakeholders, physicians, and Community Memorial team members.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, public relations, advertising, or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience working in marketing, advertising, and/or program planning and management
  • Current CA Driver's License
  • Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the Community Memorial Healthcare insurance coverages

Preferred:

  • Excellent organizational, strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success initiating and leading multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Prior experience with website management and/or content management systems
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and TEAMS), as well as Adobe Acrobat
  • Prior experience in healthcare marketing, communications, or sales
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications (Acrobat, Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Desktop production and writing experience
  • Prior experience with social media management, including use of management applications such as Sprout Social, Hoot Suite, Hub Spot, etc.
