Amcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Neenah maintenance team!

Compensation:

• $35.62/hour + Double Time on Sunday's and Holidays!

Shift:

• 12-hour rotating shift (6:30-6:30) switching from days to nights. Employees work either 3 or 4 shifts in a row. Each set of shifts is either days or nights. In-between those sets of shifts, employees get 1, 3, or 7 days off in a row depending on where they are in the 28-day shift rotation.
• Only scheduled 2 weekends a month!

Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician card required.

Plans and implements, including work with outside contractors. Plans modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications of local/national electric codes; uses/follows design specifications to properly install new equipment; calculates loads of equipment for proper installation. Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceiling, and flooring. Installs control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and installs electrical conduit and pulls wiring through conduit. Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, lugs, or terminal blocks and applying tape or terminal caps; connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Connects power cables to equipment, such as PLC's and all interconnections to machine or motor, and installs grounding leads. Works on PLCs, AC/DC drives, and other associated control systems. Programs/troubleshoots PLC logic, AC/DC drives, and oven systems. Uses electrical test instruments including multimeter, ammeter, oscilloscope and multimeter to troubleshoot/repair equipment. Evaluates and returns instruments for repair and calibration. Operates forklifts and scissor lifts; adheres to all plant and equipment safety requirements; serves and consults in matters involving electrical safety. Performs all project work as assigned. Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled. Practices safety at all times in compliance with company safety mission and philosophy, including following lock-out/tag-out, electrical hot-work and confined space entry procedures. Adheres to plant housekeeping requirements and follows all good manufacturing practices. Adheres to all GMP and AIB policies and procedures. Follow all plant and department safety rules and procedures. Other duties and tasks as assigned.
