POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Refrigeration Preventative Maintenance Technician reports to the Service Manager.
  • Located in Lewisville, TX
  • Full-Time
  • Remote



As a Refrigeration Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and service to our clients. You will provide preventative maintenance on customers equipment and leased equipment. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a passion for technology, a willingness to learn, and a desire to develop a rewarding career in the service industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support:



  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients.
  • Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently.


Equipment Maintenance:



  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment as directed.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.


Customer Interaction:



  • Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions.


Documentation:



  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and resolutions applied.
  • Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.


Training and Development:



  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.


Collaboration:



  • Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Seek guidance from experienced technicians to enhance learning.


Safety Compliance:



  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service activities.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.



COMPETENCIES:



  • Strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • 0 - 1 years of experience in a technical or service-related role, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Technical certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Must have EPA certification
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Bend or twist body.
  • Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools. or controls.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Keep or regain their balance.
  • Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
