Horseshoe Bay Resort is looking for the Perfect Room Team (PRT). This team is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all Guest Rooms, and finding and correcting issues before the room is rented.

Required Certificates:



  • Minimum age requirement - 18+ (21+ if driving licensed Resort vehicle)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet the requirements of driver insurability as established by the insurance carrier required.
  • Encouraged OSHA Hazard Communication Standard training and certification.



General Duties:



  • Performance standards of quality expected.
  • Establish preventive maintenance schedule and keep record of all the work done.
  • Paint, sheetrock and general maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain process documents to show proper repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts through the department as well as with outside vendors and contractors as needed.


  • Establish and track timelines for PRT maintenance issues
  • Document issues to be addressed.
  • Help control all maintenance and inventory par levels.
  • Complete reports with HOTSOS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.



Employment Standards:



  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to conduct basic room repairs.
  • Painting skills and knowledge preferred.
  • Posses working knowledge of tools and equipment used in Facilities Maintenance and inspections of rooms property.
  • Experience with HOTSOS a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, organization skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work on a one-on-one basis, both in person and by phone.
  • Clerical and tracking skills

  • Must have the physical strength, stamina and agility to perform the assigned duties.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to reach the top drawer of a four-drawer cabinet or stoop to bottom one.
  • Must have neat and clean overall appearance.
  • Must be able to walk and sit as a daily routine.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the general public.


  • Must be able to ascend/descend stairs as a daily routine.
  • Must be able to communicate and disseminate information accurately.
  • Must be able to comprehend reading material
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Follow all Company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Requires problem solving abilities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
  • Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of application of sanitation procedures.
