What You'll Do

As a Process Safety (PSM) Chemical Engineer Intern, you will gain experience through working with Engineers, Management and the Health and Safety team. You will be part of a dynamic team who ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. Other duties will include:

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
• Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value, andParticipate in BEx initiatives and activities
• Assist with monitoring process safety efforts across the business or assigned location(s)
• Support the team and manufacturing resources to resolve implement or delegate process safety requirements.
• Learn best practices of facilitating of Process Hazard Analysis and Layers of Protection Analysis studies
• Help on determined projects and applying education to ensure you gain hands on work experience.
• Help with creating and tracking goals to measure for PSM program improvement

Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
