Job Description

CRDF Global is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager who is interested in working in a fast-paced, growing organization. Reporting to the Director, the Compensation & Benefits Manager will plan and oversee CRDF Global's total compensation and benefits programs spanning multiple geographies. A successful candidate will have experience in organizations growing into new markets, be able to develop innovative, competitive, and cost-effective programs to attract top talent across a variety of funding vehicles, have extensive experience leading such programs, and be able to collaborate and engage regularly with people from across our global organization.

Major Responsibilities:




  • Responsible for the design, implementation, communication and ongoing evaluation of CRDF Global's compensation and benefits programs including base salary, incentive plans, health and wellness benefits (medical, dental, vision, flexible spending), life/disability insurance and retirement plans.



  • Oversees the development, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, ensuring compliance federal regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies and (where applicable) Department of State standardized allowance regulations.



  • Administer contract and program-specific allowances such as Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA), Post Hardship Differentials, Danger Pay, Housing, and Travel Allowances, aligning with the U.S. Department of State regulations.



  • Monitor trends, assess employee needs, and report on the effectiveness of benefits programs to drive continuous improvement.



  • Develop compensation and benefits strategies for different staffing structures, including deployed staff, consultants, and embedded personnel across the globe.



  • Recommend plan modifications and new benefits in alignment with business strategy and goals.



  • Well-versed in global trends in compensation and benefits and can develop plans and recommend approaches that support global expansion.



  • Responsible for the annual merit process in conjunction with the Director of Employee Experience.



  • Leads regular salary studies by analyzing market data, benchmarking against industry standards, and ensuring compensation aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements



  • Support and provide input to total compensation packages during the talent acquisition process.



  • Manage annual open enrollment in the United States. Manage insurance plans for deployed staff.



  • Act as a resource to managers and staff for compensation questions and serves as a resource on business development efforts.



  • Support other initiatives as assigned.





Required Qualifications:




  • 7+ years of experience in the analysis, design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.



  • Experience working with a growing international business development organization. Experience working on USAID-funded programs and Department of State Standardized Regulations, as well as with embedded, deployed, personnel.



  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. employment and labor laws as they relate to compensation and benefits, including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, ERISA.



  • Strong project management skills, interpersonal and consultative skills, strategic mindset, and ability to influence across functions in a collaborative, global, environment. Has an open-minded, flexible, and innovative approach to work.



  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills.



  • U.S. work authorization is required.





PREFERRED




  • Bachelor's degree in human resources,Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree or certification in HR/benefits administration preferred)



  • Experience working or supporting different business functions within an organization, including finance, business development, or pricing.



  • 3+ years of management experience.



  • Must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and ability to implement HR strategies withleadership.



  • Experience with HRIS; Costpoint, and Power BI. Experience with Deltek is highly desirable.





  • U.S. work authorization is required.





Salary & Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $108,640 to $130,000. The determination of salaries in this job classification depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant candidate experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills. In addition, we have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 403(b) retirement savings plan; unlimited paid time off; education reimbursement; student loan paydown and an in-network deductible reimbursement
