Location Address: 600 Vista Drive, Sparta, Tennessee 38583Work Shift: Salary Exempt (United States of America) This position is responsible for providing analytical support in the Inventory function within the Altium Healthcare organization. This position will work closely with the Inventory Control Manager in providing support for the Sparta Plant along with associated AHC Distribution Centers. The Inventory Control Analyst will ensure security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. The Inventory Control Analyst - AHC will strictly adhere to all Altium policies, and relevant laws and regulatory requirements.* Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Procurement. * In conjunction with the Inventory Control Manager and Operations, prepare and manage inventory levels, help establish new maximum and minimum inventory limits and dispose of inventories of obsolete or slow-moving materials and products. * Research and document inventory discrepancies and variances including identification of root cause and provide guidance on proper processes to resolve. * Identify problematic inventory records/transactions and ensuring inventory balances are accurately maintained in all affected systems. * Attend and participate in Sparta Plant and AHC Distribution Centers cycle counts which are audited by Accounting. * Compile, verify, and report monthly statistical information regarding inventory trends to Inventory Control Manager. * Identify and troubleshoot production entry errors. * Act as a subject matter expert on JDE and RFSmart transactions related to inventory control. * Work with Quality and Operations to help monitor major quality return transactions to ensure inventory is accurately accounted for and transacted properly. * Compile, analyze and present results to Inventory Control Manager. * Participate in all Altium-assigned trainings, communications, and meetings. * Adhere to Altium requirements for safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE). * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required * Associates degree or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, Business, or other related field. * Ability to act as a subject matter expert on JDE and RFSmart transactions related to inventory control. * Two to four years of work experience related to inventory control activities. * Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential. * Strong time management and problem solving skills are critical. * Estimated travel is 25%.
