Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for developing and executing a variety of communications to meet the needs of multiple audiences through interaction with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and management at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities will include drafting, editing and supervising the production of communications to be distributed to a variety of audiences; in this extremely fast-moving environment, all job expectations must be met on time with customer-service orientation, a high degree of flexibility, a professional demeanor and the ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly shifting deadlines with a sense of urgency. Incumbent must have a willingness to work overtime to meet requirements. This role is hybrid/flex and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from the other two days.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, PR or Communications and 4 years' communications experience including copy development, editing and print project management OR 8 years' communications experience.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and short timelines; ability to handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and PowerPoint software.
  • Ability to interact with high profile clients with confidence. Adept and comfortable at influencing the decision-making process.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours to meet client requirements, if necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit an array of communications materials for internal/external audiences.
  • Strong organizational, project management and consulting skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information; adept at handling situations with political appropriateness and sensitivity while influencing positive outcomes.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • AP Style and Brevity experience.
  • Direct client-facing contact supporting performance guarantees.
  • Medicare, Medicaid experience.
  • Strong project management skills.

Base Pay Range$53,500.00 - $118,100.00
