As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of our production equipment. All tasks must be performed with safety and production downtime in mind.

As Machinery Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, installing and uninstalling mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing production equipment including circuit board surface mount placement, wave solder, conformal coating applicators, UV and conventional ovens, CNC mills, and lathes.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on all production equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Completing accurate and detailed work order reports in a timely manner.
  • Complying with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality policies, and procedures
  • Learning, cross-training, and working on a variety of machines and systems.
  • Managing and tracking equipment, spare parts, and supplies inventory.
  • Participating in department cleanup tasks proactively.
  • Resolving problems using working knowledge and solutions to improve operations and develop recommendations involving new techniques, technologies, or concepts.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics or High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or Millwright maintenance or Technician in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • Be able to rotate to a 24/7 "on-call" schedule and a swing schedule.
  • Be able to read and comprehend basic electrical drawings, schematics, and other diagrams.
  • Have the ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, 3 phase motors, solid state relays, power supplies, PLCs, and encoders.
  • Have the understanding and use of electronic measurement equipment such as a DMM, frequency generator, amp probe and megohmmeter.
  • Have the understanding and use of hand tools such as allen and torque wrenches, nut drivers, power drills, reciprocating saws and grease applicators.
  • Have computer skills, office equipment, and mobile electronics understanding.
  • Have a good understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.

  • The hourly rate for this position is between 22.28 - 29.71 - 37.13 USD Hourly
